The Aliaxis Italia Safety Week was inaugurated yesterday, a week dedicated to Safety at work and to the consolidation of a culture of attention and responsibility towards oneself and others.
The International Labour Organization (ILO), on the occasion of the International Day for Safety at Work, declared that "a safe and healthy working environment" is a fundamental right.
Aliaxis Italia organized a week dedicated to Health and Safety with activities and initiatives on all the Group's production sites.
The main objective of this initiative is to raise awareness among employees both with practical activities such as first aid courses to learn the main actions to be implemented in the event of an emergency, and with playful involvement activities such as an escape room on the theme of safety.
The Safety Week 2023 program also involved the aspect of nutrition as a starting factor to protect our health and well-being.
Among the key points of the program put into practice by Aliaxis Italia:

Reduce the risks and hazards present in production sites with interventions aimed at man/machine segregation

Promote and share the importance of Health and Safety at work with engaging activities for all employees

Avoid any possible risk by inviting operators to stop and ask for support in case of lack of training or confidence to carry out a task or activity
Building a culture of safety is a conviction and a duty that unites us all. Together we can develop that collective ability to see the details, recognize when something is wrong, and guide ourselves and others toward safer behaviors.
This is our obligation, but it's also a promise we make to each other because we care about the communities in which we live and work.
