Compact diaphragm valve

The CM is a manually operated diaphragm valve of reduced dimensions and particularly compact structure, ideal for use in confined spaces.

CHARACTERISTICS COMMON TO ALL CM:

  • Easy replacement of the sealing membrane

Manual valves

SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS CM MANUAL DN 12:15:

  • Jointing system for gluing (PVC-U and PVC-C), for threading (PVC-U and PVDF) or for welding (PVDF and PP-H)
  • Extremely compact construction
  • Internal metal operating parts, isolated from the fluid
  • Stem for movement transmission in stainless steel
  • Compressor with floating diaphragm support
  • Corrosion resistant internal components
  • CDSA (Circular Diaphragm Sealing Angle) sealing system which, thanks to the uniform distribution of the shutter pressure on the sealing diaphragm, offers the following advantages:

− Uniform distribution of the shutter pressure on the sealing membrane
−  Reduction of the tightening torque of the screws that fix the valve body to the actuator
−  Less mechanical stress for all valve components (actuator, body and diaphragm)
−  Ease of cleaning of the internal areas of the valve
−  Minimization of the risk of accumulation of deposits, contamination or damage to the membrane due to crystallization phenomena
−  Reduction of the operating torque

  • Completely sealed PAGR control handwheel with high mechanical resistance with ergonomic grip for excellent maneuverability
  • Integrated and adjustable closing limiter which allows to limit excessive compression of the diaphragm or to always guarantee a minimum flow of fluid
  • Optical position indicator supplied as standard
  • Cover in PA-GR with stainless steel nuts completely protected by plastic caps with no areas of accumulation of impurities. Internal tightening profile of the circular and symmetrical membrane
  • Stainless steel bolts with the possibility of assembly from above
  • Metal threaded inserts for valve anchoring

Valves actuated

SPECIFIC FEATURES CM IMPLEMENTED DN 12:15:

  • The valve is insensitive to media containing impurities
  • It has a considerable range
  • It can be mounted in any position
  • It has a very compact structure
  • It is actuated by a maintenance-free, dry-running piston
  • It has no visible screws and is absolutely free from deposits of impurities
  • In the Standard version the valve is equipped with a position indicator
  • Piston actuator in PP-GR compact and light with no exposed metal parts, it is particularly suitable for use in harsh and chemically aggressive environmental conditions.
  • IXEF piston with high mechanical resistance guarantees high reliability over time without maintenance.
  • High visibility optical position indicator protected by a transparent cover with sealing O-Ring.
