After months of work, last week we had the honor of participating in the inauguration of the well built for the Umuawa community in the village of Ubachima, Awoomamma, in Imo State, Nigeria.
This project, supported by Aliaxis Italy in collaboration with the NGO Messengers of Peace International, aims to provide access to safe drinking water to a community where surface and groundwater are contaminated by pathogens, posing a serious health and life risk.
Ensuring a clean and constant water source significantly improves health safety and quality of life, contributing to the development and growth of the local society. The start of the work was described as a "pioneering endeavor"; read more in our news dedicated to the project.
