The project focused on the re-development of the historic municipal baths of Nancy, a monumental building dating back to the early 1900s. The interventions included the complete renovation of the treatment and distribution systems for thermal water, ensuring modern functional standards while fully preserving the original architectural value of the site.
Project Challenges: Managing thermal water with a high iron content, combined with variable operating conditions, required the use of materials with excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and thermal fluctuations.
The infrastructure also needed to ensure operational continuity, high reliability, and minimal long-term maintenance requirements.
Specifications:
Aliaxis supplied a complete system made of PVC-U and PVC-C, selected for its high resistance to corrosive ambient typical of iron-rich thermal waters.
The supply included:
- PVC-C pipes and fittings
- Manual and automatic valves in PVC-C + PVC-U
- FLS sensors for monitoring hydraulic parameters
- Components installed in diameters ranging from DN 25 to DN 400
